1. "Sea of Tranquility" by Emily St. John Mandel
Just as she jumped from a space station-themed graphic novel
to a group of traveling Shakespearean actors post-pandemic in “Station Eleven,”
Emily St. John Mandel now switches between Vancouver Island in 1912 and a moon
colony five centuries later. There’s a man who discovers a violin in the
wilderness, a writer in a book tour in a moon colony and the detective who
bridges them together. It all culminates in a beautiful crescendo, with
each characters linked together.
