If you’re not well versed on your Bravolebrities, allow me to break it down. The cast of “Vanderpump Rules,” the Lisa Vanderpump-led spinoff following West Hollywood restaurant employees, have been wheeling and dealing for seven seasons. When the cameras first started rolling, most were in their 20s, figuring out how to break out into the model-slash-actor world while waiting tables and tending bars, endeavors complemented by side gigs that never really took off (TBT to Jax Taylor’s fitness app...).
Now, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz co-own a bar with Vanderpump; Stassi Schroeder is a published author and tours for her podcast; Kristen Doute successfully launched a T-shirt line; and Taylor, Katie Maloney and Scheana Shay (while still “working” at the restaurant) have a number of partnerships and endorsements that keep their public images afloat. It’s safe to say the kids are growing up!
A few of the cast are married, others engaged, most living with their partners. And with the territory comes homeownership! Let me be quite clear: These people don’t have salaried, full-time jobs -- I think Schroder’s boyfriend, Beau Clark (who just joined the series this past season and works in casting), may be the only one. Yet here they are, winning the adulthood game and buying enormous, beautiful homes in one of the most expensive cities in the country! Makes you really consider sacrificing your dignity, baring your life to the masses and joining a reality show, doesn’t it?
